No matter the magnitude or minutia of the request, for most humans, waiting can be difficult. Avoiding discouragement, frustration, and even resentment can be challenging at best. King Solomon understood this full well. In Proverbs 13:12, he states, "[h]ope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."
